This H2 I’ve enjoyed getting deeper into 3D computer graphics techniques and frameworks, especially working with three.js. The experience has really improved my awareness and appreciation for what goes into creating today’s high quality animated movies and computer art. I keep a running list of ideas and topics that I would like to learn more about. Here’s a roadmap of computer graphics explorations I hope to tackle in the coming months:
- Shader development basics (started)
- Wireframe geometry with movable vertices (started)
- Perlin noise application
- Stipple images
- Generative tree line drawing (example1, example2)
- God particle effects
